Super Pineapple Banana Smoothie!!


So this morning I made the best smoothie… EVER! Really healthy, and low calorie. Sadly i drank my smoothie and forgot to take a pic for the blog. :\  Well anyway here is the recipie…

1 banana, One dole individual frozen pineapple, almond milk,

Slice one banana and add one dell frozen pineapple cup, then add almond milk based on personal preference for thickness. Thats all! I added half a scoop of protein powder, but you don’t have too.

So I have a horse, who LOVES homemade horse treats, and i ran out. I went to make more and didnt have enough molasses left. I started thinking and remembered a giant jar of applesauce had been in my fridge for a while (not yet expired, but soon to be) so i ran to the internet searching for applesauce horse treat recipies. None seemed to look good (or like they would fit my horses picky tastes) so i made my own recipie. It turned out pretty good, and even pleased my one picky eater, and my other horse who doesnt like apples.

Feed Me: Zucchini Pasta with Homemade Sauce

Traveling almost every weekend has been a blast, but it certainly has not been kind to the waist line.  In effort to still eat delicious, satisfying food I have had to get creative.  Example A- zucchini pasta.  As an EXTREME carb lover I didn’t think that I would be satisfied with anything else.  I was wrong.  This dish completely filled me up and I honestly didn’t miss the pasta.  I also really happen to love zucchini- you may remember from last summer zucchini fries, zucchini quiche, and zucchini bread.

I didn’t have a julienne peeler so I just used a regular vegetable peeler.  I used 3 medium zucchini and ate it all myself- I don’t think the husband would have been a fan.  It made a little more than a fistful of zucchini
